Cherokee Nation Hosts the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Replica in Tahlequah

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — The Cherokee Nation hosts an opening ceremony for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier replica traveling monument. 

The opening ceremony will be inside the Cherokee Casino Tahlequah’s Chota Conference Center and will include a special wreath-laying ceremony and remarks. 

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier replica exhibit will be at the conference center from July 29 to Aug. 1 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
