“Words from a Bear” Film about N. Scott Momaday to Premiere at Sundance Festival

PARK CITY, Utah — The Sundance Institute announced the world premiere of “Words from a Bear” will take place during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 – February 3, 2019.

“Words from a Bear” is a visual journey into the mind and soul of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Navarro Scott Momaday (Kiowa), relating each written line to his unique Native American experience representing ancestry, place, and oral history.

The film is directed and produced by Jeffrey Palmer.
