US Senate Committee on Indian Affairs to Hold Legislative Hearing on Native Veterans

WASHINGTON — On Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 2:30 PM EST, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs will hold a business meeting to consider the following bills:

·        S. 227Savanna’s Act; and

·        S. 982Not Invisible Act of 2019.

The business meeting will be immediately followed by a Committee oversight hearing entitled, “Recognizing the Sacrifice: Honoring a Nation’s Promise to Native Veterans” and a legislative hearing to receive testimony on S. 1001, Tribal Veterans Health Care Enhancement Act and S. 2365, Health Care Access for Urban Native Veterans Act of 2019.
