On Tuesday, November 19, the tribe was honored to host Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey on our reservation land where she visited the Mashpee Wampanoag Museum, Old Indian Meetinghouse, Community and Government Center, and the Weetumuw School.

It was also a monumental day for the entire Wampanoag Nation, as Governor Healey signed an executive order granting state recognition to our sister tribe, the Herring Pond Wampanoag.
