Senate Committee on Indian Affairs to Hold Business Meeting & Nomination Hearing for Chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission

WASHINGTON — On Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 2:30 PM EDT, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs will hold a Committee business meeting to consider:

·        S. 2159A bill to repeal the Act entitled “An Act to confer jurisdiction on the State of North Dakota over offenses committed by or against Indians on the Devils Lake Indian Reservation”.

The Committee business meeting will be immediately followed by a nomination hearing to consider:

·        E. Sequoyah Simermeyer to serve as Chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission.
