Rep. Sharice Davids Announces “Sharice’s Shift” at Police Athletic League of KCK

KANSAS CITY, Kan.   The next installment of “Sharice’s Shift” will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the new Police Athletic League of Kansas City, Kansas.

WHAT: Sharice’s Shift is an ongoing outreach program designed to connect directly with local workers, businesses, and residents throughout the Third District. The newly opened Police Athletic League of KCK is a youth program that helps children develop a positive self-esteem, leadership skills, a sense of belonging, and improve school performance, specifically through boxing. Rep. Davids will talk with youth participants and actually join them in the ring for boxing drills and demonstrations.
