37TH Annual Protecting Our Children National American Indian Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA) hosts the largest national gathering on American Indian and Alaska Native child and family advocacy issues. With over 1,400 attendees, this four-day conference is the premiere national event addressing tribal child welfare and the well-being of Native children and families.

WHAT: 37th Annual Protecting Our Children National American Indian Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect

WHO: National Indian Child Welfare Association board, staff, and keynote speakers ranging from national experts and advocates to esteemed local tribal leaders of New Mexico. Panels will include the New Mexico Tribal Indian Child Welfare Consortium, state Indian Child Welfare Act court judges, and counsel and intervening tribes in the Brackeen v. Bernhardt case
