Lacrosse Great Lyle Thompson Calls Out Announcer for Racist “Ponytail” Remark

PHILADELPHIA —  “Inside Lacrosse” is reporting Lyle Thompson (Onondaga), one of the National Lacrosse League’s best players called out the Philadelphia Wing’s announcer, Shawny Hill, for saying “let’s snip the pony tail” to the whole arena, which apparently triggered fans to tell Thompson they were “going to scalp” him.

The inappropriate racist comment by Hill came during the Georgia Swarm’s 13-11 win over the Philadelphia Wings at the Wells Fargo Center Saturday night.
