I’m greatly honored to be a featured speaker at tomorrow’s Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration hosted by Vice President Biden and Senator Harris. The virtual event will kick off tomorrow (Monday, Oct. 12) at 2 PM with a lineup of powerful leaders from across Indian Country and a Native Peoples Concert.

It’s through events – like tomorrow’s celebration – and educational programs that we are able to bring this Nation to terms with its past, to honor the promises that were not kept and work to right these wrongs.

Having worked closely with the Biden-Harris team over the past few months, I can promise you that they have listened and understand how our people and our land have been impacted. They have a policy to move Mashpee forward and tomorrow I will share that vision with the rest of the Nation.

You can sign up for the virtual event online by clicking here and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on zoom tomorrow for Indigenous Peoples Day.
