Applications for Housing Assistance to Lumbee Tribal College Students Are Now Available

PEMBROKE, N.C. — The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina are accepting new applications for the Student Housing Voucher Program for the 2019 fall semester.

The Student Housing Voucher Program provides financial housing assistance to eligible enrolled members of the Lumbee Tribe of NC who are enrolled as a Full-Time undergraduate/graduate student pursing a degree equivalent to or higher than a Bachelor’s at the following University/Institution:

  • The University of North Carolina at Pembroke
  • Fayetteville State University
  • Methodist University
  • St. Andrews University

These universities/institutions are eligible because they are within the Lumbee Tribal Service Area: Robeson, Hoke, Scotland and Cumberland County.

If eligible, students can receive up to $1,500 per semester for Student Housing On or Off Campus. Applicants must come to the Tribal Housing Complex to fill out the application.

Students must re-apply each semester for renewal.
