The National Center Brings Native Edge Institutes to the East Coast 

MESA, Ariz. — The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (the National Center) will host its first Native Edge Institutes (NEI) on the East Coast on February 19th and February 21st. These will take place in Orlando, Florida, and Cherokee, North Carolina respectively. Both events will be facilitated by GovContractPros and ArcticIT (a Doyon, Limited Company). These NEIs will provide participants hands-on training in federal and corporate small business programs, as well as how to leverage those programs to enter the supply chain of large prime contractors. They will also provide valuable insights in technology and cyber security.

The first Native Edge Institute took place last year in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and have since traveled to Seattle, Washington, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Anchorage, Alaska. Orlando and Cherokee will be the first two in the eastern United States. NEIs started with the generous funding from KeyBank Foundation, and are being continued in part through a grant from the Minority Business Development Agency.
