Dan King sworn in as Hereditary Chief for the Red Lake Nation

RED LAKE INDIAN RESERVATON — At the Regular Tribal Council meeting held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, Dan King was sworn in as the 7th Hereditary Chief of the Red Lake Nation, formerly held by Chief George “Billy” King, who passed away on August 27, 2018.

Dan is currently the President of the Red Lake Nation College and is a decedent of the August King family.
